Granny refers to Bolo's grandmother. Though she has not yet appeared in a game, she has been mentioned once in each (assuming he is referring to the same grandmother) as well as in the official Shantae Twitter's recount of the events of the first game:
- In Shantae (game), he says that she claimed the Golem Stone was buried in the desert somewhere near Oasis Town. He speaks of her eyes, 'like shining emeralds' while smiling absently.
- Less flatteringly, in Shantae: Risky's Revenge he says the rotten egg smells like her.
- The official Shantae Twitter also mentions her. Shantae refers to her as "Bolo’s attractive granny".
The implication of the scene in Shantae seems to be that Bolo's obsession with attractive women extends even to his own family.
