Granny refers to Bolo's grandmother. Though she has not yet appeared in a game, she has been mentioned once in each (assuming he is referring to the same grandmother):
- In Shantae (game), he says that she claimed the Golem Stone was buried in the desert somewhere near Oasis Town. He speaks of her eyes, 'like shining emeralds'.
- Less flatteringly, in Shantae: Risky's Revenge he says the rotten egg smells like her.
