Marc Gomez
Marc Gomez is an animator, designer and director. He served as one of the lead animators on Shantae: Risky's Revenge.
Studies[]
Marc Gomez studied at the California Institute of the Arts between 1998 and 2002 in character animation. He graduated with a bachelor of fine arts.[1]
Career[]
In 1999, Gomez worked for a short time as a shop keeper at Brave New World Comics. In 2002, he was hired by WayForward as an animator, designer and director and has worked on several projects,[1] including A Boy and His Blob[2] and Shantae: Risky's Revenge as one of the lead animators. He was also in December 2010 and January 2011 an instructor at the Entertainment Arts Academy. In 2012, he left WayForward to join Tic Toc Games as a designer and also works since 2015 as game designer for Age of Learning.[1]
Influences[]
Marc Gomez claims that his favourite video game console is the Super Nes, and that some of his favourite video games are Rivercity Ransom, Resident Evil 4 and Final Fantasy VII, although he claims he has never finished that last game.[2]
