The Mayor is a friendly and upbeat individual. His reason for hosting the Half-Genie festival is to spread knowledge of magical beings, and he ensures that any purchases made during the festival support local businesses on the island.

Shantae and the Seven Sirens[]
The Mayor spends the majority of the game in Arena Town. After the Half-Genie festival goes awry, he spends most of his time fretting over the Siren's attack and trying to keep the citizens calm in town. Occasionally, he will give Shantae hints on where to go next. However, it is revealed at the end of the game that Risky Boots was in disguise as him and his outfit is nothing more than parts as well as walking on stilts.
