Michael W. Stragey is a programmer and producer. He has worked at WayForward on several titles, and performed additional programming on Shantae.
Career[]
Stragey is a veteran of the video gaming industry, having worked at Interplay Productions in the beginning of the 1990s,[1] where he was briefly an associate producer around 1996-1997, before joining Intercom as multimedia engineer in 1998. He left in 2000 to join WayForward where he worked until 2006.[2] He worked there essentially as a programmer, performing additional programming on Shantae, among other games.[1] He left WayForward to work as an independent software engineer up until 2012 when he joined SubScience Studios as a chief technology officer until 2014, to join Lucky Charm Games to work as technical director. In 2015, he resumed his activities as an independent game developer.[2]
