The Nintendo Switch is a ninth generation home video game console by Nintendo, the successor to the Wii U. In Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, Wayforward has utilized the Nintendo Switch to support over 150 custom-made HD Rumble events.[1]
The rest of the series eventually found its way to the Switch, giving it the honor of being the first platform to host every Shantae title.
Shantae would also appear in the 2018 crossover fighting game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as both a Spirit and a Mii costume.
