The Relic Hunters are a group of explorers that attempt to advance the future by excavating secrets of the past by diving into old, dangerous ruins. They have an annual expo, hosted by Mimic in Scuttle Town. The last expo happened in Scuttle Town in Risky's Revenge.
Members[]
| Uncle Mimic
Mimic is the first Relic Hunter introduced in the series. He enjoys discovering lost technology with the hopes of making the world a better and safer place. He is close friends with Boris Holes, the original Pepperpex McManstache, and Cornelius Crust. His relationship with Sky's father is unknown. |

|---|---|
| Sky's father
Sky's father is introduced, by game release order, as the second Relic Hunter in Pirate's Curse. His specialty lies in scavenging ancient relics from long-lost civilizations. Unlike Uncle Mimic, who approaches excavation with scholarly care, Sky's father shows little concern for the historical or magical consequences of the artifacts he uncovers. |
|
| Boris Holes
Boris Holes is a relic hunter whose specialty lies in petrology—the study of rocks and their origins. As the first to respond during Shantae's rescue missions, he possesses extensive knowledge of stone structures and mineral composition. This expertise proves crucial when Shantae presents him with the enigmatic 'Wonky Stone,' whose properties offer clues to its country of origin. He also has an interest in bird eggs, believing them to be the "rocks of the sky." |
|
| Pepperpex McManStache
Her story begins with a chipped tooth incident at a local dining spot, where she discovered a key fob containing the name and address of a reclusive scientist known as Pepperpex Mcmanstache who had recently been eaten by sharks. Upon visiting the location, she uncovered extensive documentation on volcanic physiology. The young lady soon discovered many people owed Mcmanstache a lot of money, so she assumed his identity to try and take the money for herself. She was also intrigued by the research and its implications, and continued his scientific work to pass the time. However, this is also what lead to her kidnapping by the Tinkerbats, believing her to be the real Mcmanstache. |

| Doctor Cornelious Crust
Doctor Cornelious Crust is a scientist specializing in crustal biology—a hybrid field focused on life forms that dwell in or influence the Earth’s crust. Though brilliant in his niche, Cornelious prefers the quiet comforts of home, where he can lose himself in fantasy and science-fiction novels rather than get tangled in Uncle Mimic’s latest mishaps. His reclusive nature may stem from years of teasing by his peers, who mockingly dubbed him “Corny Crust.” Ironically, he’s grown fond of the nickname—especially when Shantae uses it. He often says it with a sarcastic edge, testing whether she’ll join in the teasing. |
