Shantae's father is the human and biological father of Shantae. He has yet to make an appearance in the games.
Past[]
Before the present day, Shantae's father fell in love with a guardian genie and ended up having a child with her.
Powers and Abilities[]
It is implied that Shantae inherited her trademark hair whipping ability from her father's side due to her maintaining the ability despite losing her genie half in Shantae: Risky's Revenge and continuously using it throughout Shantae and the Pirate's Curse.
Possible Identity[]
While Shantae is exploring the Village of Lost Souls, she comes across a mysterious Warrior whose body is shrouded in darkness. Meeting Shantae stirs up memories of his forgotten family - in particular, his daughter, who he went searching for years ago. He failed to find her, and ended up in the Village of Lost Souls. He helps Shantae get into the Oubliette of Suffering, and says he would be proud if his daughter was as gutsy as her.
Since the girl with the missing locket recovers some of her memories when reunited with a familiar object, some have speculated that the Warrior is Shantae's father, since meeting her has the same effect on him. Neither Shantae nor the Warrior seem to realize this, however.
