Tree climbers are reptilian, turtle-like creatures that are primarily found in forest environments. In the first game, they can be seen climbing up and down trees in Ghost Forest, and are also present on Spiderweb Island
in The Pirate's Curse. If Shantae crosses under them, they will attempt to crush her. Similarly to Water Dragons, Tree Climbers cannot be defeated, or even stunned, making them more akin to hazards than proper enemies.
